The London Community Gospel Choir provided backing vocals for British Electro-pop singer, Ellie Goulding on "Anything Could Happen". It was the lead single from her 2nd album 'Halcyon', reaching the top five in the UK. In a recent interview she talks about the choirs input.
“....Anything Could Happen” has more depth. The sound is fatter, the vocal more passionate. Then there’s the London Community Gospel Choir booming around throbbing synthesizers. “You like that? It was my idea,” Goulding said, then laughing. “I knew I needed more than one voice telling the story in this song, and I’ve always loved the idea of having a gospel choir on a song of mine. To me, it makes music timeless, and it’s so beautiful.”
London Community Gospel Choir performed to an audience of 40,000 people at BBC Proms in the park held in Hyde Park. They performed an amazing set as well singing “Wow” with Kylie Minogue.
